Generally, BTTA players have been asserting their dominance in age-group events (cadet, sub-junior and junior) sections of the state championships.
BTTA boasts of having two national ranked players (Samartha Prusty and Ajitabh Kalta) in it list.
Enjoys the credit of introducing robo-pong machine for the first time in Orissa on May 15, 2009.
Conducted the annual summer coaching camp at Kalinga Stadium from May 15 to June 7, 2009. |
| Description |
BTTA has been conducting the Bhubaneswar District Table Tennis Championship once in a year since 1987.
So far it has conducted the district meet 20 times, missing just twice since the formation of the body.
It also conductsd coaching camps through out the year, special coaching camps in summer and winter: sends teams for State and Inter-District Championships, provides regular training and practice facilities to players of the capital city. |
