Odisha woman sprinter Srabani Nanda bagged a double of sort by winning silver medal in both the 100 and 200 metre events of the 18th Federation Cup National Senior Athletics Championship that concluded at Patiala today.

Srabani clocked 11.86 seconds in 100m dash and 24.02 seconds in 200m sprint. A four-member Odisha squad finished with three medals. Other medal winner was Amiya Kumar Mallick, who claimed a bronze in men’s 100 metre sprint with a timing of 10.65 seconds.

The our-day championship served as the selection trial for the Asian Games, scheduled to be held at Incheon (South Korea) from September 28 to October 4.
