Impressive performance by captain Sushree Dibyadarshini Pradhan, Pragyan Paramita Mohanty and Sunita Murmu helped host Odisha thrash Tripura by 60 runs in their East Zone U-23 Women One-day league match at Nimpur Ground here today.

Batting first, Odisha rode on a half-century by Pragyan Mohanty (56 off 92b, 7x4) and her fifth-wicket partnership worth 73 runs with Sunita Murmu (40 off 81b, 3x4) to make respectable total of 173. In reply, Tripura were bowled out for 113. Sushree was the most successful bowler for Odisha, taking four wickets for 20 runs.

This was the second straight win for Odisha and they now lead the zonal table with eight points. Odisha will next meet Jharkhand at Barabati Stadium here on February 6.
