Ace Odisha has shooter Shriyanka Sadangi once again made the state and the country proud by achieving a hat-trick of medals in 10 metre women air rifle event of the Intershoot 2016 international shooting championship, which was held at The Hague, Netherlands from February 5 to 7. Medals included two silver and one bronze.

Shriyanka bagged the bronze by returning with an impressive qualification score of 418.9 on the opening day. She was at the top position after qualification round. In the final she scored 186.1 and bagged he bronze medal.

On day two of the tournament, Shriyanka bagged the silver medal after losing to a competitor from Egypt by a narrow margin of 0.3 points. She scored 206.1 in the finals. Bronze medal went to top Indian woman shooter Apurvi Chandela who scored 185.7 points. Shriyanka capped her campaign with another silver in 10 metre air rifle event on the third day.
