SAI, Sundargah, KISS, Bhubaneswar and SAI-HAL, Sunabeda shared honours, bagging two titles each in the 5th State Prize-Money Archery Competition, which was jointly organised by Odisha Archery Association (OAA) and SAI-HAL, Sunabeda at the newly constructed Archery Stadium in Sunabeda (Koraput) on January 30 and 31, 2017.

Top 37 archers of the state participated in three categories of the competition. The two-day tournament was inaugurated by SAI-HAL Training Centre chairman Arup Chatterjee, the stadium was unveiled by HAL Executive Director Debasish Dev.

Archers securing first, second and third positions were given cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. The HAL Executive Director also handed over the cash prizes in the closing ceremony. Former archery world champion Dola Banerjee and OAA secretary Sradhananda Das were present on the occasion.

Indian Round (Boys): 1. Rajesh Durua (SAI, Sundargah), 2. Mithun Barman (SAI, Sundargah), 3. Surendra Murmu (SAI, Sundargah).
Indian Round (Girls): 1. Galap Naik (SAI, Sundargah), 2. Sumi Munda (KISS, Bhubaneswar), 3. Champa Hanhaga (SAI, Sundargah).
Recurve Round (Senior Boys): 1. Ranjit Naik (KISS, Bhubaneswar), 2. Suna Santa (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda), 3. Tuna Kurmi (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda).
Recurve Round (Junior Boys): 1. Raghunath Khosla (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda), 2. Tuna Kurmi (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda), 3. Suna Santa (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda).
Recurve Round (Junior Girls): 1. Chandamani Munda (KISS, Bhubaneswar), 2. Lalita Khandapatra (KISS, Bhubaneswar), 3. Ashalata Das (KISS, Bhubaneswar).
Compound Round (Boys): 1. Purna Chandra Majhi (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda), 2. Surya Paleya (SAI, Sundargah), 3. Kishore Kumar Gond (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda).
