Odisha registered second straight win, beating Bihar 2-0 in their Group-C match of the 51st Junior Men National Football Championship (Tier-I) for B C Roy Trophy at Bilaspur in Chhatisgarh today. Captain Prabin Tigga and Amar Lakra scored the two goals in the 35th and 75th minutes respectively.

Earlier on April 27, Odisha rode on a brace by Dasaratha Munda to thrash Madhya Pradesh 4-1 in their opening match. Raman Malha and Biki Sethy scored the other two goals for Odisha. Odisha will play their last league game against Punjab on May 1.

Prabin Tigga is leading the 20-member Odisha team with Fagu Baskey as his deputy. The team is being accompanied by coaches Raj Sekhar Pradhan and Hrusikesh Behera. Altogether 16 state teams are participating in this championship. Teams have been placed in four groups and after completion of group league matches, the top team from each group would advance to the semifinals.
