Nalco CMD Tapan Kumar Chand handed over the trophies in the closing ceremony. Organising Committee chairman Naba Ranja Patnaik, OBA president Ashok Kumar Sahu, secretary Gyana Ranjan Parida and Cuttack District Athletic Association working president Pankaj Lochan Mohanty were present on the occasion.

Inaugurated by Finance Department Executive Director Gangadhuar Sahu, the championship, however, failed to generate the expected public interest as OBA made no effort to disclose, let alone publicise the performance of the participating teams.
