Host Odisha and Surashtra secured two points each after the Plate Group-A match between the sides in the Senior Women’s One-day League ended without producing results due to rain at Nimpur Ground in Cuttack today.

Put into bat by Odisha captain Madhusmita Behera, Saurashtra were all out for 109 in 45.2 overs. N Chavda was their top scorer with an unbeaten 31. Madhusmita was most successful bowler for Odisha with three wickets for 20 runs. However, Odisha were denied what would have been their second straight win as no play was possible thereafter due to rain.

Teams shared points as two other Group-A matches of the day _ Punjab vs Tamil Nadu and Karnataka vs Haryana _ were also abandoned due to rain at DRIEMS Ground (Tangi) and Ravenshaw University Ground.
