Odisha men and women teams, comprising of 12 players each, left Bhubaneswar today to participate in the 51st Senior National Kho-kho Championship, scheduled to be held at Kolhapur in Maharashtra from October 25 to 29, 2017. As many as five officials accompanied the teams to Kolhapur.

Jagannath Murmu and Mandakini Majhi have been named as captain of the men’s and women’s teams respectively. Before leaving for Kolhapur, both the teams attended a four-day-long coaching camp, which was organised by Odisha Kho Kho Association at Delanga in Balasore.

WOMEN: Mandakini Majhi (Captain), Priyanka Singh, Madhusmita Ojha, Sasmita Nathasharma, Mamata Jani, Shibani Gamango, Subhashree Singh, Sabila Khatun, Sabnam Khatun, Sasmita Patra, Rashmita Khatoi, Rupali Pradhan. Coach: Debi Prasad Das.
