Utkal women’s football team played four matches, won three and drew one to top the table with seven points. Ranchi University also secured seven points from four matches, but finished second on goal difference. Manipur University and BR Bihar University occupied third and fourth positions in the league table. The top four universities qualified for the All-India Inter-University Tournament.

In men’s hockey competition, Sambalpur University topped the table with seven points, while Kashi Vishwavidyalaya finished runners-up with five points. BVS Purvanchal University and host Utkal University secured third and fourth positions respectively. These four universities became eligible to compete in the All-India Inter-University Tournament.

Utkal University beat Kashi Vishwavidyalaya 6-0; drew with Ranchi University 1-1; beat Manipur University 9-0; beat BR Bihar University 14-0.
Sambalpur University lost to Pandit Ravi Shankar University 0-5.
Rama Devi Women’s University beat KIIT University 1-0; lost to BR Bihar University 1-3

MEN’S HOCKEY:
Sambalpur University beat Durg University 10-1; beat BVS Purvanchal University 6-1.
Utkal University beat Binoba Bhave University 4-3; beat Berhampur University 7-0; beat Pandit Ravi Shankar University 9-1; drew with Kashi Vishwavidyalaya 2-2.
KIIT University lost to Manipur University 2-3.
