Career best six-wicket haul by Deepak Behera and unbeaten half-century each by Anurag Sarangi and Shantanu Mishra powered Odisha to a nine-wicket win over Haryana in their sixth and last Group-A league match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy One-day Cricket Tournament at Just Cricket in Bangalore today.

Odisha finished fourth in Group-A with three wins, three defeats and a total of 12 points. Baroda emerged group champions with 20 points, while Karnataka finished runners-up with 18 points. Both Baroda and Karnataka qualified for quarterfinals.

Electing to bat against Odisha, Haryana were bowled out for 170. Deepak Behera destroyed the Haryana batting line-up, scalping six wickets for 22 runs. Haryana were in dire straits, losing seven wickets for 57 runs. They managed to post a respectable total, thanks to a half-century each by Sanjay Dhull and Harshal Patel.

Odisha overhauled the target in 31.4 overs, losing the only wicket of Rajesh Dhuper for 28. Anurag Sarangi and Shantanu Mishra capped the win with unbeaten knocks of 84 and 53 respectively. The duo was involved in an unfinished stand of 126 runs for the second wicket. This was the sixth List-A half-century for Sarangi who hit seven boundaries and five sixes in his 89-ball knock. For Mishra, this was his maiden List-A fifty and his 69-ball essay included seven hits to the rope.
