Odisha players bagged a double by winning both the singles and doubles titles in the Gurukul AITA-OTA Men’s 50K Tennis Tournament, which was organised by Gurukul Resort, under the aegis of Odisha Tennis Association (OTA) at Gurukul Tennis Complex, Mendhasal, near Bhubaneswar from April 23 to 27, 2018.

Local favourite and top seed Chinmay Pradhan emerged singles champion, outplaying third seed Arjun Mahadevan from Tamil Nadu in the final 6-4, 6-2. This was the third singles and fourth overall AITA title for Pradhan, who gathered 15 AITA ranking points and a cash prize of Rs 6,500.
