  Jr Natl Basketball: Mixed luck for Odisha teams

Odisha teams today experienced mixed luck with the girls beating Bihar 43-11 and the boys losing to Mizoram 65-76 in the loser knockout quarterfinals of the 69th Junior National Basketball Championship, which is being held at the Ludhiana Basketball Academy, Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana from May 7.

This was the third wins in four matches for Odisha girls, who earlier won two and lost one at the league stage. On the other hand, Odisha boys suffered their third defeat in five matches. Both the Odisha teams are competing in Level-2. The championship is being organised by Punjab Basketball Association under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India.
