Indian Rugby Football Union has shortlisted 11 players from Odisha for the Inaugural Asia Rugby Championship (Division-1), scheduled to be held in Singapore from June 1 to 6, 2018. The Indian Women`s National Training Camp for preparation for this event will be held at the Bombay Gymkhana in Mumbai from May 11 to 31, 2018.

This tri-nation event will see India take on hosts Singapore on 2nd June and then play Philippines on 5th June. The Indin women’s team will be finalized after National training camp.

ODISHA PLAYERS SELECTED FOR NATIONAL CAMP: Meerarani Hembram, Manjulata Pradhan, Sumitra Nayak, Bhagyalaxmi Barik, Laxmipriya Sahu, Sanjukta Munda, Shubhalaxmi Barik, Hupi Mahji, Rajani Sabar, Lija Sarkar, Parbati Kisku.
