Kalinga Basketball Club (KBC) won all of their five matches to emerge champions in the Bhubaneswar Junior (U-19) Basketball League, which was held at Unit-I Basketball Complex here from April 7 to 11, 2018.

Bhubaneswar Central MLA Bijay Kumar Mohanty handed over the trophy in the closing ceremony on April 15. Bhubaneswar Basketball Association president Maqbul Ali and secretary Prasant Nayak were present on the occasion.

DAV Warriors finished runners-up with four wins and one loss, while Yuva Fighters secured the third place, winning three and losing two. The tournament was organised by Bhubaneswar Basketball Association.

RESULTS:
April 7: Kalinga Club beat Mother’s Basketball Club 45-19.
April 8: Yuva Fighters beat Mother’s Public School 68-61. DAV Warriors beat BJEM School 45-34. Yuva Fighters beat JBEM School 41-27. DAV Warriors beat Mother’s Public School 35-21.

April 9: Kalinga Basketball Club beat DAV Warriors 48-26. Mothers’s Public School beat BJEM Bulls 33-11.

April 10: Kalinga Basketball Club beat Mothers’s Public School 54-31. Mothers’s Club beat BJEM Bulls 34-20. Mother’s Club beat Mother’s Public School 38-26. DAV Warriors beat Yuva Fighters 39-37.

April 11: Kalinga Basketball Club beat BJEM Bull 39-13. DAV Warriors beat Mother’s Public School 36-30. Yuva Fighters beat Mother’s Basketball Club 62-52.
