Omm Aditya Khadanga of Mother’s Public School emerged champion in the 31st Bhubaneswar Schools Chess Tournament, which was organised by Bhubaneswar Chess Association (BCA) at Odisha Secretariat Recreation Club here on July 14 and 15, 2018.

Khadanga scored seven points out of a possible eight, while Jagadish Ghadai of DAV Public School, Kalinga finished runner-up also with seven points. Sambalpur Irrigation Division Executive Engineer Raj Kishore Ghadai handed over the prizes in the presence of BCA secretary Arati Bijoy Mohanty and director Debasis Panigrahi.
