Captain Santosh Debkant and stumper Sourav Gouda hit a half-century each to help Bhubaneswar-B pull off a fighting 26-run win over Khurda in a super league match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament here today. This was the second straight win for Bhubaneswar-B and they brightened their chances of securing a berth in the semifinals.

Bhadrak, Rourkela and Keonjhar registered wins in three other super league matches of the day. Good all-round performance by Satyakam Bharadwaj enabled Bhadrak beat Balasore by 24 runs. Amrit Khatua slammed an unbeaten 84 to propel Rourkela to a five-wicket victory against Bargarh, while Keonjhar rode on a majestic unbeaten 127 by captain Subhranshu Sekhar Senapati to thrash Jharsuguda by eight wickets.
