Host National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences (NISWASS), Bhubaneswar achieved a hat-trick by winning the Utkal University Inter-College Men Hockey Tournament for the third year in a row today. NISWASS completed the hat-trick, defeating Dhenkanal College by 4-0 goals in the final at Vani Vihar here today.

Earlier in the semifinals, NISWASS beat Raghunath Jew College, Cuttack 1-0, while Dhenkanal College got walk-over against their opponents. Utkal University Sports Council (UUSC) Director Prof Kabir Mohan Sethi handed over the trophy in the closing ceremony.

UUSC Physical Education Officer Ambika Prasad Ray, Tournament Coordinator Dr Chandrakanta Mallick, Selectors Gyanesh Kanungo, Dharmananda Mohanty and Pradip Kumar Samantasinghar were present on the occasion.
