Insurance company, Unilight Reinsurance Brokers Private Limited (URBPL), will be the new title sponsors of the Bhubaneswar Inter-School Football Tournament, the oldest and most popular of its kind in Odisha.

Organised by leading football club, Unit-VI Athletic Association, 29th edition of tournament will be known as Unilight Cup Bhubaneswar Inter-School Football Tournament and will take place at Unit-VI High School Ground here from August 17 to September 9, 2018.

This was announced by Unit-VI Athletic Association president Tapan Kumar Mohanty in a press conference here today. Altogether 24 teams of the Capital City, including defending champions Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), will vie for the coveted trophy. The league-cum-knockout tournament will witness a total of 31 matches.

Teams have been plaed in eight groups and after completion of group league, the top team from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, scheduled to be held from September 4 to 6. This will be followed by the semifinals on September 7 and the grand finale on September 9.

URBPL senior executive Satrujeet Mohanty, Football Association of Odisha vice-president Bhakta Ballav Das, Unit-VI Athletic Association vice-president Prafulla Mishra and secretary Dillip Kumar Das were present in the press briefing programme.
