Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) bagged a double by winning both the cadet and senior team titles in the Odisha State Open Judo Championship and Selection Trial, which was held at Municipal Kalyan Mandap in Paradip on September 15 and 16, 2018.

The top honours in junior category was captured by Bargarh. More than 200 judokas and officials from 15 affiliated units of Odisha State Judo Association (OSJA) participated in this event.

The championship was inaugurated by OSJA Chief Executive Officer Gitanjali Panda in the presence of Technical Secretary Kandan Murmu and Jagatsinghpur Judo Association Secretary Lopamudra Pati.

The closing ceremony was graced by Paradip ASP B C Mishra and Paradip Port Sports Council Secretary Rabi Das.
