Asirbad Behera and Jagmohan Pattnaik were re-elected unopposed as the secretary and president respectively of Odisha Athletics Association (OAA) for a four-year term yesterday. In fact, all 22 office-bearers were elected uncontested after scrutiny of nomination papers by Election Officer Pratap Satpathy at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.

However, the number of posts for vice-presidents and joint-secretaries were reduced from eight to five and three to two respectively this time. Another change occurred as 11 members were elected to executive committee for the first time, in place of council members.
