Jharkhand defeated hosts Odisha by seven wickets in their Elite Group-C match of the Senior Women One-Day League here at Sunshine Ground today. Jharkhand gained seven points from this win, while Odisha drew blank.

Batting failure cost Odisha dear in this match as they were bundled out for 68 after choosing to bat first. Jharkhand overhauled the target comfortably, losing three wickets in the process. This was the second defeat in three matches for Odisha, who will next meet Assam also at Sunshine Ground tomorrow.
