Odisha crushed Mizoram by 10 wickets in their seventh and last Group-E match to qualify for the super league of the BCCI Senior Women T20 League at CAP Siechem Ground in Puducherry today. This was the fifth win for Odisha, who finished second in the group with 20 points, eight behind group toppers Madhya Pradesh.

Put into bat by Odisha captain Madhusmita Behera, minnows Mizoram were skittled out for a paltry 11. Among Odisha bowlers, Sujata Mallik and Priyanka Priyadarshini Sahu scalped three wickets each, while Madhusmita Behera bagged two. Odisha clinched victory, knocking off the required 12 runs in 1.2 overs without losing any wicket.

Altogether 10 teams would compete in the super league at Mumbai from March 5 to 11 and top two finishers would meet each other in the final on Match 13. Odisha have been placed in Group B of the super league along with Karnataka, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand.
