Unbeaten century by Soubhagya Ranjan Mishra and four-wicket haul by Preet Kunwar Singh Chohan went in vain as Odisha lost to Andhra by 112 runs in their fifth Elite Group-B match of the BCCI Mens One-day League at Shastri Medan in Anand today.

This was the fifth successive defeat for Odisha who will next meet Maharashtra at Vadodara on February 26. Opting to bat, Andhra rode on an unbeaten century by Karan Shinde and a half-century by K Maheep Kumar to build a strong total of 305 for eight wickets.

Among Odisha bowlers with notable performance, Chohan captured four wickets for 65 runs, while his pace-partner Ayaskant Sahu picked up two for 76. In reply, Odisha were restricted to 193 for nine. Mishra waged a lone battle against Andhra bowlers, remaining unbeaten on 100, which came off 129 balls and included eight boundaries and two sixes.
