Odisha continued their losing streak in Elite Group-B of the BCCI Mens One-day League as they went down to Maharashtra by 79 runs at Darshanam Sports and Education Academy in Vadodara today. This was the sixth defeat in a row for Odisha who will next meet Gujarat at Nadiad on February 28.

Opting to bat, Maharashtra made a competitive total of 244. Among Odisha bowlers with notable success, Preet Kunwar Singh Chohan, Ashish Rai and Tarani Sa captured two wickets apiece.    In reply, Odisha were bowled out for 165.

Soubhagya Ranjan Mishra, who hit a century in the previous match, once again emerged top scorer for Odisha with 81 runs (108 balls, 5x4, 2x6). He compiled 100 runs in the third-wicket stand with captain Debasish Samantray, who contributed 36 runs.
