Formidable Railways beat Odisha by eight wickets in their Elite-Group match of the Womens Under-23 One Day League (ODL) at CB Patel Ground in Surat today. This was the second defeat in three matches for Odisha, who will next meet Tamil Nadu on March 24.

Put into bat by Railway captain Nuzhat Parween, Odisha were bowled out for 123 in 48.4 overs. Rani Tudu was the top scorer for Odisha with 28 runs. In reply, Railways overhauled the target in 32 overs, losing two wickets in the process.
