Unbeaten half-century by Poonam Nayak and four-wicket haul by Louisa Dash powered Odisha to a 74-run win over Tamil Nadu in their fourth Elite-Group match of the Womens Under-23 One Day League (ODL) at CK Pithawala Ground in Surat today. This was the second win for Odisha, who will next meet Karnataka on March 26.

Opting to bat, Odisha compiled a healthy total of 200 for four with captain Sushree Dibyadarshini Pradhan and opener Anjali Singh complementing Poonam with knocks of 48 and 35 respectively. In reply, Tamil Nadu were dismissed for 126 despite a defiant knock 71 by S Anusha. Among successful Odisha bowlers, Indrani Chhatria followed Louisa with three wickets.
