Odisha women team won the bronze medal in the 16th Senior National Soft-tennis Championship, which was held at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh from 27 to 31 March, 2019. Odisha settled for the bronze after losing to hosts Uttar Pradesh 0-2 in their semifinal match.

Odisha qualified for the semifinals after defeating Goa 2-0 in the first round, Punjab 2-0 in the second round and Andhra Pradesh 2-0 in the third round. Leading Odisha tennis player Anaam Almas was the special attraction of the state team.

Other players of the Odisha women team were: Karishma Kishan (Captain), Monalisa Nayak, Chudamani Soren, Gourirani Munda, Kumari Himirika, Amisha Minz and Anusuya Barik. The team was accompanied by coach Mohammad Azam and manager Jyotsna Ray.
