The Special General Body Meeting (SGBM) and elections of office-bearers of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will take place at OCA Conference Hall, Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on 27th September, 2019. As per the directation of the Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators and in consultation with the Electoral Officer of OCA, Sri M L Majumdar, OCA Working Committee Chairman, Sri Dhiren Pallai issued notice for this purpose today.

All the members of General Body of OCA have been requested to send their authorised representatives for participation in the SGBM and the elections. All three former international cricketers of Odisha _ Sri Debasis Mohanty, Sri Shiv Sundar Das and Sri Sanjay Raul _ have also been requested to join the SGBM.

Elections will be conducted for a total of six posts, which include one each for President, Vice-president, Secretary, Joint-secretary, Treasurer and Councilor for Apex Council. As per the schedule, final electoral roll will be published on September 15.

This will be followed by filing of nominations on Sept 20, scrutiny of nominations on Sept 21 and withdrawal of candidature as well as publication of valid list of candidates on Sept 22.
