Dueball came to limelight in Odisha when a 12-member State squad left today for participation in the 7th Senior Men National Dueball Championship, scheduled to be held at Rupnagar in Punjab from 27 to 30 June 2019.

The squad was announced by Dueball Association of Odisha (DAO), the apex governing body of the state. Biswa Ranjan Dash and Subhashree Patra accompanied the team as coach and manager respectively.

DAO is affiliated to Dueball Federation of India and is headed by Parthasarathi Mohapatra and Jitendranath Das as its president and secretary respectively. The office address of DAO is: Jhadeswari Club, Police Line Square, Puri.
