Defending champions Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium (BJEM) School retained the title in the 19th Bhubaneswar Inter-School Cricket Tournament, defeating Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) by nine wicket in the lop-sided final at BJB College Ground here today.

BJEM boy Sudarshan Swain was adjudged the best batsman and best wicket-keeper of the tournament, while his teammate Ritesh Priyaranjan (BJEM) took the prize as best bolwer. The best fielder and player of the tournament prizes were claimed by Gopal Krushna (Young Phonix) best fielder and Ramesh Melaka (KISS) respectively.

The tournament was organised by Veterans Cricket Association of Odisha. But the performance of the organizers left a lot to be desired, especially providing results all matches to the media.
