Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has decided to conduct the Inter-District Junior Cricket Tournaments (both U-16 & U-19 Category) in the month of January 2021. The decision was taken in the 3rd Apex Council Meeting of OCA at OCA Club Conference Hall, Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on 28 December, 2020.

The performers of the Intra-Club Junior Tournament will represent their respective district units similar to the principles applied in the Senior Men Tournament. Outstanding performers of the Inter-District Junior Cricket Tournaments will be shortlisted for residential academy camp.

An open Talent-Hunt Program for the women cricketers throughout the State of Odisha will be conducted in the near future. Thereupon 40 women cricketers will be shortlisted for the residential camp.

An Intra-School Cricket Tournament will be held in each affiliated district unit, followed by Inter-District School Cricket Tournament to be organised by OCA. Best performers of the Inter-District School Cricket Tournament will be chosen for inducted to the residential academy of the OCA.

OCA president Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, vice-president Akshaya Kumar Samant, secretary Sanjay Behera, joint-secretary Mehtab Khan, treasurer Bikash Pradhan, apex council members Suvasish Senapati, AbakashKhatua, Rashmita Mohanty and OCA CEO Subrat Kumar Behera were present in the meeting.
