Odisha Panthers rode on an unbeaten half-century by Abhishek Yadav to trounce Odisha Lions by seven wickets in the fifth match of the MGM Odisha T20 Cricket League at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today. With this win Panthers joined Odisha Cheetas at the top of the league table having eight points from two two matches.
Yadav hit a 45-ball unbeaten 69 with the help of seven boundaries and two sixes. He was adjudged the Man of the Match. Chasing a modest target of 126, Panthers romped home in 17.3 overs, losing three wickets in the process. Alok Chandra Sahoo was another successful Panthers player, bagging three wickets for 35 runs.
