Odisha Cheetas and Odisha Pumas registered respective third win to move up to the joint second position in the points table of the ongoing MGM Odisha T-20 Cricket League at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today. Odisha Cheetas beat Odisha Lions by 11 runs, while Odisha Pumas prevailed over Odisha Tigers by 24 runs. Both the Cheetas and the Pumas now have 12 points each from five matches.

Put into bat by Lions captain Sujit Lenka, Cheetas rode on a hard-hitting knock of 49 (50 balls, 5x4, 1x6) by Abhishek Raut to muster a 114 for seven. In reply, Lions were restricted to 103 for five. Raut was named the Man of the Match.

In the second match of the day, Odisha Tigers could make 117 for seven while chasing a target of 142. Earlier, Odisha Pumas compiled 141 for eight after being put into bat by opposition captain Debasish Samantray. Pumas allrounderTukuna Sahoo bagged the prize as the Man of the Match, hitting a sparkling 61 (51 balls, 6x4, 3x6) and picking up two wickets for 20 runs.
