A sensational hat-trick by Bhabani Dhada powered Odisha Orange to a 133-run win over Odisha Green in the fifth match of OCA Women Cricket League at Vikash Ground in Bhubaneswar today. This was the second straight win for Odisha Orange and first defeat for Odisha Green.
Bhabani accomplished the hat-trick by three wickets in three balls she bowled in her only over, without conceding any run. Rameswari Naik, an Odisha Orange bowler, also achieved a remarkable feat when she bagged the first five-wicket haul of the tournament, giving away 18 runs.
Odisha Yellow also registered back-to-back win, beating Odisha Red by 57 runs in another match of the day at KIIT Cricket Ground in Bhubaneswar. Allrounder Taranna Pradhan played instrumental role in the Yellow win, hitting an unbeaten 26 and picking up two wickets for 15 runs.
