  Nagesh Trophy: Odisha drub WB, register 2nd win

Odisha registered second straight win in the Nagesh Trophy 3rd National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind, drubbing West Bengal by 122 runs at Sachin Tendulkar Ground in Bangalore today. Odisha batsman Pankaj Bhue bagged the man-of-the-match prize, hitting a 55-ball 96.

Maintaining their fine form in batting, Odisha compiled an imposing total of 242 for five after electing to bat. Among other successful Odisha batsmen, Lal Prasad Soren scored a 46-ball 67. In reply, West Bengal could muster 120 for five. Odisha will play their third league match against Andhra Pradesh at Altore Ground tomorrow.

BRIEF SCORE: Odisha 242/5 in 20 overs (Pankaj Bhue 96, Lal Prasad Soren 67, Md Jafar Iqbal 28, Sukhram Majhi 23) beat West Bengal 120/5 in 20 overs (Sukhram Majhi, Kalia Pradhan 1 wkt each) by 122 runs. MoM: Pankaj Bhue.
