  U-19 Inter-District cricket resumes with super league

Cuttack-A, Bhubaneswar-B, Rourkela and Jharsuguda won respective super league matches in the OCA Under-19 Boys Inter-District Cricket Tournament at different grounds in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar today. The four super league matches produced four fifties and four hauls of four wickets each.

Saideep Mohapatra took four wicket for 24 runs to bowl Cuttack-A to a nine-wicket win over Sambalpur, while Bhubaneswar-B rode on a four-wicket haul by Sushil Kumar Barik to beat Balasore by 99 runs.

Fine allround performance by Mir Kafiruddin went in vain as Bhadrak lost to Rourkela by 22 runs, while similar work by Om Kumar propelled Jharsuguda to a four-wicket win over KIIT.
 

SUPER LEAGUE RESULTS (10 Feb, 2021):

Match 1 (At BOSES Ground, Cuttack): Sambalpur 95/10 in 27.5 overs (Nitish Singh 31; Saideep Mohapatra 4/24, Suvam Behera 2/34) lost to Cuttak-A 96/1 in 22.5 overs (Shashang Rungata 39*, Prince Sanket Behera 32; Shresth Singh 1/12) by 9 wickets. MoM: Saideep Mohapatra.

Match 2 (At Bidanasi Ground, Cuttack): Bhubaneswar-B: 233/4 in 50 overs (Bibhansu S Ray 76, M G Kumar 50, Pankaj K Sahoo 44*; Subha S Barik 2/51) beat Balasore 134/10 in 39.1 overs (Suman S Ojha 41, Arun K Rout 30; Sushil K Barik 4/26, Sagar K Mulia 3/26) by 99 runs. MoM: Sushil K Barik.

Match 3 (At Town Club Ground, Bhubaneswar): Rourkela 211/9 in 50.0 overs (Hemanta Nayak 43, Basant S Rathour 32*, Aashirwad Swain 32; Mir Kafiruddin 4/41) beat Bhadrak 189/10 in 48.2 overs (Mir Kafiruddin 45, Surya Mohapatra 33; Goutam Suna 3/31, Swoop S Bhuyan 2/23) by 22 runs. MoM: Goutam Suna.

Match 4 (At Railway Ground, Bhubaneswar): KIIT 205/10 in 49.0 overs (Ramani R Jena 53, Gourish Patra 45*, Manitej Mohanty 31; Om Kumar 4/49, Sachin Yadav 3/38, Shubham K Singh 2/23) lost to Jharsuguda 206/6 in 48.4 overs (Dhananjay Yadav 65*, Anubhav Pradhan 48, Om Kumar 32; Manitej Mohanty 2/49) by 4 wickets.
