Odisha Red and Odisha Violet registered respective fifth win to join Odisha Purple at the top of the points table in the ongoing MGM Odisha Women T20 Cricket League (OWCL) at KIIT Cricket Ground in Bhubaneswar today. The three teams now have 20 points each.

Odisha Red rode on an unfinished 93-run partnership for the opening wicket between captain Madhuri Meheta (49 not out) and Kajal Jena (42 not out) to maul Odisha Yellow by 10 wickets in the 17th match. However, Red bowler Swarnalata Nayak claimed the woman-of-the-match prize, taking one wicket for eight runs.

Later in the day, Odisha Violet beat Odisha Purple by six wickets in the 18th game. Sushree Dibyadarshini was the top scorer for Odisha Violet with an unbeaten 42, while their captain Anjali Singh contributed 28. Odisha Violet bowler Taranna Pradhan was adjudged the woman of the match for picking up two wickets.
