  Satyajit Mohanty elected new OTA secretary

Retired IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty has been elected as the new Secretary of Odisha Tennis Association (OTA). He replaced IAS officer Madhusudan Padhi, who became the Chief Advisor of the apex governing body of tennis in Odisha. Retired IAS Officer Asit Tripathy retained his post as the President of OTA.

The results of the elections of office-bearers were shared unofficially by a tournament referee today. The President, Chief Advisor, three Vice-Presidents, Secretary, Joint-Secretary and Treasurer were elected for a term of four years (2021-25).

While Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra, Brahmananda Mishra and Subhransu Sarangi became Vice-Presidents, Sanjiv Panda was elected as new Joint-Secretary. After being elected as the new Secetary, Satyajit Mohanty said OTA would take steps to activate districtic bodies, develop infrastructure facility and facilitate quality coaching for advance level players.
