Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), managed by IMFA Group has invited nominations for Ekalabya Puraskar-2021. This is the annual sports award for outstanding young sportsperson of Odisha which carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. This was informed by Pradeep Kumar Behera, Corporate Affairs Dept, IMFA today.

Besides the main award, two citation awards are also given which carry cash prize of Rs 50,000 each. Interested candidates should send their nominations through sports organizations/boards/associations, universities, colleges and schools within Odisha. Candidates must not exceed 25 years of age as on 31st March 2021.

Application should state clearly, supported by evidence, and proof of age, events, performance history at State, National and International level sports competitions in the past two years i.e. from April 2019 to March 2021.

The nominations must reach Ekalabya Puraskar, IMFA Trust, Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar-751010 latest by May 31, 2021. Alternatively, nominations can be e-mailed to ekalabya@imfa.in in which case the supporting documents must be sent separately to the postal address mentioned above.
