A five-wicket haul by Abhisek Senapati and a polished knock of 79 by Biswanath Dhada guided Cuttack-B to a 109-run win over Malkangiri in their preliminary league match of the Inter-District U-16 Boys Cricket Tournament at CV Raman Ground in Bhubaneswar today. Cuttack-A, Keonjhar, KIIT, Sundargarh and Nabarangpur posted wins in five other matches of the day.
Sumit Swain bowled Cuttack-A to victory, bagging five wickets for 18 runs. Sarthak Swayamprakash led Keonjhar to win with a 98-ball knock of 78. A six-wicket haul by Anirudha Mohanty went in vain as Dhenkanal lost to Nabarangpur by 23 runs.
