*     Functioned as the Officer In-charge of SAI Training Centres at Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Sundargarh.
*     Played important role in the setting up of SAI Watersports Complex at Jagatpur, Cuttack.
*     Helped in the grooming of a number of international sportspersons from Odisha, including Rachita Panda, Pranati Mishra, Sushama Behera, Anadi Biswal, Shekh Farook Ali, Sahebani Oram (all athletics); Pravasini Dwivedy, Pratima Puhana, Pramila Prava Minz (all rowing) and Saroj Patnaik (football).

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Underwent open-heart surgery before passing away at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar at the age of 66 years.
*     Joined Cuttack SAI Training Centure as manager in April 1990 and retired as Deputy Director in March 2012.
*     Before becoming an administrator, played hockey and represented Sundargarh district State Hockey Championship.
