*     West Bengal state junior billiards champion in 1987.
*     Nine times Orissa state snooker champion (Contineously from 1996 to 2003 and in 2005). Finished runner-up in 2006.
*     Won the West Bengal state junior snooker title in 1986 and finished runner-up in 1987.


NATIONAL:
*     Ranked among top 16 for five years (1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003) in the National Snooker Championships.
*     Reached quarterfinal in the 1987 Junior National Snooker Championship.
*     Reached semifinal in 1986 Junior National Snooker Championship.


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Passed away at the age of 55 in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after months of illness.
*     First full-time cueist of Odisha, Haque played prominent role in popularising the sport in the State.
*     Groomed many youngsters into state and nation
al level cueists.
*     Settled in Bhubaneswar after getting a job in Nalco.
