DESCRIPTION:
*    Altogether 10 nationals will compete in the event.
*    Teams include Azerbaijan, Australia, Belgium, Italy, India, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Poland.
*    Teams will compete for three guaranteed places at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as well as qualification for end of year showpiece Hockey World League Final.
*    Placed in Pool B India will be clashing against Belgium in their first match on June 20.
*    Indians will subsequently meet New Zealand on June 23, Poland on June 24 and Australia on June 27.
*    India’s 22 core probables are now undergoing rigorous training sessions, which are helping them take their game a notch higher.
*    Getting polished under the excellent Chief Coach Mathias Ahrens, the team looks determined to put on a good show and qualify for the Rio Olympics 2016.
*    The focus is on longer ball possession and tackling which will help Indians earn the crucial goals.
*     Hockey India on May 25 announced an 18-member Indian squad, including four from Odisha for the above-mentioned competition.
*     The Odisha quartet includes defenders Deep Grace Ekka, Sunita Lakra, Namita Toppo and mid-fielder Lilima Minz.
*     The team will yet again be led by Captain Ritu Rani who will be supported by vice-captain Deepika.
*     Training under the new Chief Coach Mathias Ahrens, the team is aiming to finish in the top four and qualify for the FIH Hockey World League Final Round and also secure a place in the 2016 Olympic Games.
*     Indian women hockey team finishes fifth in the tournament.

June 30: Lost to Netherlands 0-7
July 2: Beat Italy 5-4 in shoot out (Full time 1-1)
