DESCRIPTION:
*     Altogether 16 universities and institutions, defending champions Ravenshaw University and five from other states, will be vying for top honors in this tournament.
*     Teams, divided into four groups, will play a round-robin league and the top team in each group would qualify for the semifinals.
*     While Utkal University, Bhagalpur University, Lovely Professional University and OUAT have been placed in Group-A, Berhampur University, National Law School of India University, Guru Ghasidas University and IIT, Bhubaneswar would comprise Group-B.
*     Group-C would include Ravenshaw University, KIIT University, Jadavpur University and Integral University, Lucknow while IIIT, Bhubaneswar, Centurion University, Biju Patnaik University of Technology and hosts SOA University have been clubbed together in Group-D.
*     The winners would be presented with a prize money of Rs 1 lakh while the runners would take home a purse of Rs 50,000.
*     In the preliminary league, three matches would be played every day with the last encounter being held under floodlights.
