DESCRIPTION:
*     The tournament will feature eight events, which include four singles and as many doubles.
*     Singles competition will take place in under 12 and under 16 boys, men and women open categories.
*     Doubles events are: men’s open, veteran above 40, 50 and 60 years.
*     The tournament offers a total cash prize of Rs 1.70 lakh.
*     For the second year, no coach will be allowed to compete in the tournament.
*     The decision to deny entry to coaches had been taken on the ground that they are taking away all the prize money.
*     Senior bureaucrat Suresh Chandra Mohapatra and former Police DG Sanjib Marik are functioning as top office-bearers of BDTA.
