* Amateur Kickboxing Association of Odisha (AKAO) is recognised by Odisha Olympic Association and National Kickboxing Federation of India.
* AKAO sent a six-members squad to Dublin (Ireland) to participate in the WAKO World Kickboxing Championship, scheduled to be held there from November 21 to 29, 2015.
* They were: Kartika Dakua (DOB May 25th, 1971), Krushna Chandra Dakua (DOB June 25, 1978), Rajkumar Patjoshi (DOB 19th May, 1996, Asst coach), Jagannath Barik (DOB 1st Oct, 1988), Achyutananda Sahu (DOB 24th May, 1989), Kirtirani Sahoo (DOB 20th May, 1996). |
