*     Syed Maqbool Ali and Birendra Kumar Behera were elected unopposed as president and secretary respectively of Odisha State Handball Association (OSHA) on November 11, 2018. Odisha Olympic Association conducted the elections for a four-year term from 2018 to 2022 at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack as requested by Handball Federation of India.
*     Election of office-bearers for a four-year term was last held on Feb 10, 2015 with president Balaram Mohanty becoming new secretary, replacing Ramesh Chandra Prusty (Jajpur), while vice-president Ritwik Adhikary became new president.
*     Election of office-bearers of OSHA was held on September 18, 2011 at Council Hall of Orissa Olympic Association Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.
*     OSHA is the apex governing body of basketball in Odisha.
*     OSHA is affiliated to Handball Federation of India, Odisha Olympic Association and Odisha Council of Sports.
