Smelter and Power Plant Complex of Angul Mines and Refinary (M&R) of Damanjodi to emerged champions in the NALCO inter-department badminton tournament, which concluded at Nalco Nagar in Bhubaneswar today. Mines and Refinary (M&R) of Damanjodi finished runners-up, while Corporate Office, the hosts, won the veterans` title in the four-day tournament, which featured a total of 42 shuttlers. Nalco Chairman Chitta Ranjan Pradhan inaugurated the event, while Director (P&A) Joy Vergeshi gave away the trophy at the closing function.
