Amity United, Haryana upset Army XI, Bangaluru 1-0 in the final to win the 3rd All-India Sambalpur Cup Invitation Football Tournament at VSS Stadium in Sambalpur today. Skipper Danny scored the all-important goal in the 89th minute, capitalising on a Tushar shot, which rebounded after hitting the post. State Urban Development Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Transport Minister Jayanarayan Mishra gave away the trophy and cash prizes at the closing function. The winners received Rs 1 lakh, while the runners-up were given Rs 50,000. The tournament was organized by Samaleswari Sporting.
